Use majestic and Moz to rank links according to their TF and PA

Ahrefs is the best as it has the biggest dataset, and then Majestic, who's a bit smaller than ahrefs but not by much, but their metrics hold more value.

Stay away from Moz, their datasets is pitiful.

Seoprofiler is useful for finding some PBNs, as not all block their crawlers

They all suck. Now a days its impossible to get a decent estimate of how many backlinks or referring domains your competitor has! I use ahrefs personally and their crawler doesn't pickup up most web 2.0 sites. For example: I have 82 reffering domains to my website and ahrefs only shows 15 of them. ( Links have been alive for 4 months) That's a horrible ratio!

I vote for ahrefs. It's fast as hell, always finds my links in like a few days. Majestic is good but tf just seems broken. Moz is shit.

Yeah it's so bad. Although I would say it has one single advantage over the others, their API is free which is handy for very very rough mass filtering of properties (domains + 2.0 etc)

IMO you can try to use SEMrush and Ahrefs to check backlinks. Both tools are the best choice for you.

How many links does semrush pick up? It has not been good in my experience
