I mean, we are doing all this hard work every day just to earn money, just to buy the things we want. But all of this is temporary. Every single pleasure, happiness, or sadness - everything is temporary. One day, we will suddenly cease to exist. Some people are going to say it’s for family. I agree that’s the main reason, but still, for what? To what extent? They will cease to exist in the end too.

Doesn’t make any sense, right?

I came to that conclusion a while ago. But as a Zen Buddhist saying goes, “Before enlightenment, chop wood, carry water. After enlightenment, chop wood, carry water.”

So even after that realization, we still have to survive and live our lives for as long as we’re here.

I love listening to Naval Ravikant on this subject since he has explored both extremes the material world and the philosophical, spiritual side of this strange existence.
 
It is what it is. What I try to do is to live the moment, be nice with the others and keep going further. But which is the destination of that "further"?! That's the beauty of this adventure called LIFE.

you having an existential crisis, mate? (which is OK, everyone has at least 1 in their life :p )

We buy these things because we're living in the hard, low frequency, physical realm, where other stuff that appears to be solid is needed to better and extend our life... I think...
 
It sounds like you're really thinking about your purpose and i think we all do at some point in life, which is a good thing. Don't let the fact that life is just temporary get you down. Instead, let it help you focus on what's really important to you right now. Because everything is limited, the meaning of your life comes from how you choose to spend your time, make connections, and make a difference while you're here.
 
Hey, it's just awesome, you have the power to change things, it's exhilarating. You have to build the system you want and thrive in it, and if it doesn't work... well, just do it again.
 
Honestly? We’re all just grinding for snacks and good vibes before the credits roll. :)

Nothing lasts, so you might as well enjoy the coffee, the memes, and the random wins while you’re here.

Thats how the universe works. If you deeply observe, this life is meaningless. We were given this birth for a reason - every birth in the world has a reason. Earn, eat, sleep, reproduce, die. Some revolts, some kills, some revolutionizes - but every creature has a purpose to do by taking a birth in this world.

We earn - someone in the other part of the world spends.
We spend - someone in the other part of the world earns.

This chain cant be, shouldn't be disturbed.

Don’t overthink the “to what extent.” It’s all maya, an illusion we build in our own heads. When we dig too deep into the same thoughts, it only leads to confusion and unhealthy obsession. I went through that phase in my early 20s , medications, meditation, trying every possible method to escape the loop. In the end, peace came from a simple truth: accept what life brings, and stop fighting what you can’t control.

In conclusion,money itself is a tool to accomplish certain purposes
Meaning until purposes are known making money is futile..well you can make some money just to keep yourselves in existing systems, but much more money becomes a tool for destruction where purpose is unknown
 
doesnt make sense why dont u work hard and be faithful and have a happy life in the earth and after earth

Because you reach immortality through posterity. You gotta look beyond few generations.
That's what you gotta do it for.
 
Its interesting as I was thinking about the same topic today. I don't care about material things in life, but I would rather have some kind of impact on others' lives. I think helping others is the key to life, no matter how many times you get screwed.

Another thing I see a lot is obituaries, and it's all positive stuff. I never liked that at all, as we are humans and our flaws should be shown, but that is just my perspective. Stuff means nothing but legacy, or doing things that will help a future generation, is what is key.

Thanks for bringing this up; I miss these deep topics.
