Whats a mininet? Is it fancy term for PBN?

Hi BHW members recently saw a video on Craig Campbells channel where a guy talked about a mini net. What is a mini net and is it just a fancy name for a blackhat pbn?

Wouldn't cross linking multiple money sites from one cause penalties or would it be safe with other content as well. Curious to find out more about how they work and what fellow forum members think about it.

Mininet is a very old SEO concept for circular linkbuilding. Doesn't have anything to do with PBN, though it has many things in common

Nowadays, tiering and PBN systems have supressed the need of mininets, although, pyramidal structures still use some kind of mininet approach.

Mininet creates a realistic virtual network , providing simple & inexpensive network testbed used for prototyping a large network on single machine - nothing to go with PBN.
