Whats a good ctr and view duration?

So i've been wondering this for a while.
In youtubes eyes, whats a good
Impressions click-through rate
and
Average view duration

for a video. If specific, gaming video.
Just to know if your getting above average impressions or view duration.

A good CTR and view duration is one that's higher than your direct competition. If you're playing Fortnite and want to rank for a term you have to have a higher CTR and view duration than the other people you see when you search that term. No point comparing because kids watching Roblox might click on and watch Roblox videos longer than adults watching eve online. Look at your direct compilation and do your best to do better than them.

oh thanks for the info! Is there a tool i can use to know my competitions ctr and watchtime?
I've got videoiq but im not sure if you can check those stats as i cannot find it for my competition.

for me a good video: ctr + 10% audience retention +50%
Great video: 12%+ ctrr and audience retention +60%
my videos are 4-5 min long

No but you can guess. If it's a big YouTuber like PewDiePie they probably have a very high average view duration. If you're competing with well known YouTubers aim for 14% CTR and as high a view duration as you can. If you find a lesser known game with Only small YouTubers making videos on it you can get away with 7% CTR and an average view duration if you have enough engagement.
