What's a good cheap host (preferably shared) that can handle high traffic?

Hey there, I'm looking into a good host at the moment, preferably shared, I've looked through the previous posts in this forum, but it's still very hard for me to make a good decision, I have been through DreamHost, Hostinger, NameCheap, but they're all quite slow, I was considering swapping to DreamPress from DreamHost, but it is $20/mo, is there anything that I can get for $10-$15/mo that is solid? Thanks.

Namecheap's plans are solid in terms of quota and price, check them out.
 
I believe shared hosting is not designed for handling tons of traffic. So if you have some huge amount of traffic that would be better to have a cloud scalable solution I guess.

Been using them for 3 years.
 
To handle traffic and to have great uptime, I take my servers directly from AWS. Just select the correct technical specifications for the server capacity that you need from AWS.
 
Namecheap, Bluehost, any cloud networks like aws, or simply vps
 
The limitation you'll find on Shared hosting is the amount of CPU and RAM that they'll allocate your account.
Most (if not all) shared hosting providers these days use CloudLinux, which limits your account's CPU and RAM usage to the limits they have set for your plan.

Once you start hitting those limits, your site will start returning 503 errors until the resource usage comes back under the limit.

For higher traffic sites, you should look at VPS solutions from Cloudways or WP Bolt.
