What's a Good alternative to Facebook

What's a good alternative Social Networking Site/App that is almost as good as Facebook, but also allows you to post regular links to external websites? I know that instagram doesn't allow you to include links in photos but only one in the profile section which is not practical.

Facebook reach has been going down all the time so I need to find another place to gain a following. So has anyone had any success with other social networks?

There is something russish thing going around
www.vk.com but there seem to be a lot more international people online
 
If you're talking about functionality/usability/features take your pick, any social network is better.

If you're talking about user base and traffic, nope, there's none...

Twitter, pinterest .The conversion will depend on your niche and your strategy.
 
Twitter and Instagram are the best alternatives, but you can try Path and Google+ too.
 
LinkedIn is best to develop your B2B. 10X faster than Facebook.
