Whats a decent host?

What is your goal with the sites you are hosting?

I personally haven't had problems with HG.
 
hg is gud but its depend for what you need hosting

all depends on what you are looking for. i continue to go back to hostgator because they have 24/7 support which comes in handy when something gets screwed up and they need to fix it. for vps id go with thrust and any shady bizzzz xsserver
 
HostGator is pretty decent, mind you I'm definitely not a fan of their interface. I used to use GoDaddy for like two years prior to jumping onto the HostGator bandwagon, and only left because of their poor ability to deal with customer issues (my domain got suspended without any prior consultation, and it took me more than 1 hour of phone calls and 72 hours of waiting to have my hosting reinstated even though the domain in question had been removed from my hosting account).

I plan to switch over to MediaTemple as soon as possible though, as it suits my needs far more.
 
Stay away from justhost and webhostingpad,the worst hosting companies ever.

Dont know about WEBHOSTINGPAD , but JUSTHOST is working very good for me from about 2 years .
 
HostGator is the best. Haven't had one problem in 2 years of using it. Also, the customer support is speedy. Have not had to wait for more than 5 minutes to talk to someone.

But on the shared hosting plan its fine as long as you dont occupy more than 25% of their CPU usage .

really depends on what type of website you have.

Yeah true. HostGator does allow adult hosting. That is a benefit for a lot of people.
 
I've had some issues with Blogging and Hostgator so i switched to Bluehost... But overall Hostgator and Bluehost are legit
 
i also have been using hostgator for more than a year now and their service has been great
 
if u need something bigger like a BIG VPS. pm me.
i can host u on my servers :)
 
im using siteground i find them really good actually...pretty cheap too

Bluehost doesn't accept adult. I just asked them and they say no. I always had them on my adult hosting list but I guess that's changed now
