Whats 100 % wrong in my opinion.

Where is homepage with latest posts?

Old version of BHW:

When i type in browser blackhatworld.com or click "homepage" i can see latest threads, most recent threads. When i visit bhw i always browse this page, look for something interesting, read, reply if i can help someone. In old bhw version user after visiting homepage can find interesting content in 1 click and its very user friendly. User can interact with content on BHW very fast.


New BHW version:

Homepage point to same section as main forums. No more most recent threads, no more way to see whats happening on whole BHW without visiting all subforums. Guys i cant belive it, its huge steep back. Im on few forums around web and i love how BHW look, i love homepage with most recent threads.

In new version of BHW user need to make 2 clicks after visiting blackhatworld.com to find content. First click on subforum, than click on thread. Its not user friendly and its huge steep back. TBH when i visit old BHW homepage i always find something interesting in latest posts. How list of subforums can be more interesting for user than list of latest threads? I dont see any logic here and i hope its only bug.

Thanks satyr85 - don't worry the homepage feed feature will be back.

I think Recent Activity is better if it can be filtered down to posts, personal actions, attachments, or any actions that are useful but that don't flood it (Such as likes). Even if you keep both I would take the likes out of Recent Activity.

Now for some reason I do see "New Posts" and "Recent Activity" is gone. Was it JUST replaced? Recent Activity was nice if it could just be filtered a bit. The pagination it had was nice as well.

The thread rating system never really worked as it only having 5 increments (stars) allowed it to be very easily abused.

However, it's intended function is useful. Perhaps the number of Thanks or Likes given to the OP could be used as a Sort Function on the New Posts page so that users can order posts according to how well received the content has been.
