what you normally do when you are really Down

    Guys, Just a question
    Lot of time we gets really low. we need money desperately . but we don't get it.
    We don't know what to do it. Lots of ideas. Lots of goals. Nothing works out
    What you normally do then?
    Pray?
    relax?
    Movies?
    Music?
    What makes you relax?

    I always recommend meditation and 5-htp or other supplements.

    PM me for different meditation techniques. One warning, alcohol and other drugs like opiates, amphetamines or cocaine will make things much much worse in the long run, I would stay far away from these if you are feeling depressed.

    It's just normal in this business. You have to fail many times before succeeding. Sure it doesn't give you positive emotions. I don't do any meditation. In my opinion meditation for the soul is like panadol for the body - decreases pain but doesn't solve the problem. Look for the solution - that's when you'll fell positive and happy. Don't give up - fight, dig dipper. There are always solutions to the problems, just you have to be strong enough to find it.

    Nothing beats a good gym session when you are down, no matter what goes on in your life the iron never lies and a good gym session is great for putting yourself in the right mindset, I recommend trying it.

    If I'm stressed about not making money, then I'd grind on making money. If I'm just depressed for a different reason then I either go spend time with my family/friends or I go on facebook and send out random compliments to people telling them how (fill in the blank) they are. People need to feel appreciated sometimes, and I feel better in the process helping others feel good about themselves as well.

    Don't sit there and wait for things to get better, when ever I'm stressed because I've run out of money, I don't stick my head in the sand I do something to gain money, there'll be something u can do that will sort ur situatioj

    Lots of things! Hug my cat, hug my fiancee, watch a funny tv show, listen to some verses. Sometimes i'll buy a gadget, which is a bad habit :p

    I know your intentions were good in this post, but the advice on the meditation was completely contradictory. Meditation is in fact the way to realise the solution to the problem, any problem for that matter, and often not in the form you expected. I don't mean you'll meditate and then have a genius idea on how to make money. What I do mean, for example, is that you'll see what mental patterns and attachments to ideas/notions leave you feeling low and you'll see clearly how to prevent that from happening, among many other deep realisations about yourself. I believe it is the only term way of sustaining peace of mind. Sure, there are many short term solutions, but we usually end up in suffering again at some point later in life...

    Anyway, I don't mean to sound patronising, it's just something I thought needed to be said.

    Since childhood, when I didn't realize why I did this, I usually feel the urge to go for a long walk... several miles over a couple of hours.

    There is something about walking that calms me, clears my head (endorphins) and opens my mind to solutions, answers... whatever from The Universe, which never lets me down or stay down.

    Sleep when I'm a bit down. When I'm really down, mainly due to love reasons then I go walk or cycle, look at the sky and scream WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY inside myself. Mostly it cools off when I get back and when I start feel real pissed about the situation again I go outside again and kick/hit some stuff.

    OP, you said what to do when you're down and need money, and still the same you suggest about watching movies? lol.. don't go for meds, but if u really want to chill yourself down, get some 'green' :) Just try to find your own circles of people around IM, this should help you more than you think.

    And if you want to make money, like find a new thing to work, stop losing your time reading threads about people complaining how they got scammed, how their adsense account got banned 'again' ;] or some of my lounge threads. Go straight to the point and build your knowledge towards one interest. When you don't know something, ask around. And don't always take for granted what every post says in the making money threads. Once I mastered a few methods, I was shocked to see how a lot of people were giving advices for granted, while they were not having a clue what to do.
