What you guys think about post count inflation in introduction section?

What you guys think, if posts in introduction section count or no?

In my opinion, posts in introduction section shouldn't count as I think its an easy way for newbies to reach 15 posts so they can send PMs, also recently I have noticed people using it aka "misusing" that section to reach 100 posts so they can upgrade and start a BST, In general that section is used for PCI from what I have observed.

What you guys think?

Admin allow it to a degree as it keeps most post inflaters in 1 place and
there easy to spot, from new members to vips doing it there.

but as Admin say lots of posting welcome to bhw or posting pics of welcome
to bhw doesnt break rules, even when done many times a day.

as much as some see it as spam others dont mind it, so things likely wont
change, so just let it go and move on .

Valid point as far as post inflation is concerned. However :-
If you enter a room where you do not know anyone and very few people welcome you, inspite of you introducing yourself : You would not feel too good. On the other had, in the same scenario, if many people welcome you : You will feel nice and accepted.
Leaving the welcoming of newbies (in the Introduction section) open to all members to reply (post) is actually a good thing (in my opinion, as explained in the example above).
I guess the above example is why the Introduction section is left open for all members to reply (post). All other sections where posts are counted, are quite well managed to control post inflations.

I've always thought it was just polite to welcome new members.

When you buy off someone's BST and they just reached the 100 post count or they are just barely a month old
Is it not common sense to do your due diligence and check their previous posts?
Honestly, i don't think it matters much unless someone is clearly abusing it.
Afterall, it's better to have all the shits gathered easily in one place so they mods can take action PLUS make the new community members feel welcomed.
Then have all the shitters posting everywhere making the mods job harder right

Not when you get people posting 30 intro posts in a day, it's just pure PCI.

I've seen this question asked before and the reply will be it's not going to happen.

Most people now know if they restrict themself to 3 or 4 posts, they fly under the radar or they move to marketplace with " samples please " and never even read the PMs they get sent.

It's not just new accounts, it's the aged accounts that have not posted for 5-10 years, suddenly come alive again, most hide their profile then spam post.
Or the guy who made over 70 posts in 1 day to enable them to get to 100, then upgrades, submits a BST and stops posting for 2-3 weeks until the BST is made live.

Best thing is keep reporting the spammers.

If someone is spamming, you can report him.
