I'd like to know what you guys are using so I can keep up with what's new and also out of interest.

Personally, I use Studiopress themes. Metro Pro mostly.

    Genesis + sub-themes.
It is so freaking fast (nd lightweight) than other themes IMO.

Genesis is fast, but I think Schema is the fastest commercial theme available right now. Haven't tested it myself though.

Genesis and it's child themes are definitively great. The only bit of bitching I would say is that Studiopress doesn't make many new themes.

For blogging you have Mythemeshop which offer good ones.

And in Themeforest you have Boombox, NewsPaper, etc.

I've used both Genesis and Thrive themes and plugins. With the Genesis Framework, you can create professional looking websites and there are plenty of themes to choose from. While you won't find as many Thrive themes, their plugins are great and I also find it easier to customize Thrive themes than Genesis.

You'll have to decide based on your requirement. If you're good at coding and would like to have complete control over the development of your website, you may want to go with Genesis. Thrive themes on the other hand, are simple and easy to use.

Honestly, I would go for the simplest theme you can find, because most Wordpress themes are bloated pieces of shit and have tons of JS and CSS that you don't even need...

I also use Thrive Themes with Thrive Content Builder plugin, easy to edit and they are making improvements to it all the time. Great lead capturing tools.
