A niche with no competition or a niche with high competition?

No one would love to get ripped off by big dogs.
I think it's obvious.

That would really depend.
If I had to fight authority that been there for a decade
I might aswell bend over and let them rekt me.
If it was a "new" niche but competition is tough but everyone has somewhat the same starting line, I'm quite happy to fight for it (afterall, one of my site went viral about 2 months ago from this same situation) :D

Niches with little to no competition do usually take fewer investments (time, links, content, etc...) to rank for, but the ROI & profits are actually kinda limited in most of them, you'll need a variety of them to make some good numbers, more projects, handling, tracking, etc...
So, it really depends on how much you're planning to invest and to want to earn if you do have the budget to aim for a competitive one and that would make you a good ROI, then simply go for it

i think you missed the revenue part"

"A niche with no competition with low revenue or a niche with high competition/high revenue?"

right?

if i'm good at what i do.. a niche with high competition/high revenue

If you're just starting - niche with no competition, if you're ready to go against the big boys - niche with competition.

But if you're just bold - go for highest paying niche and deal with the competition.

Seo or building websites is like girls
Will you let go of the cute one just because a lot of guys want to date her?

Any niche I go into has to have these three characteristics:

1. Is large in number

2. Has money in their pockets

3. Is irrational

Less competition is better.
