What would you go with $500 a month?

Hi all,

I have been given a budget by a client to do some SEO, as you can guess by the title its for $500 a month, Its a PR2 website with a domain registry date of around 1997

Keywords are tough but not impossible, an average of around 2m in exact search terms, (50m normal search results)

Im creating weekly content of around 20 pages,

i just wondered, where would you guys spend the deniros?

I was thinking article distribution, web 2.0 backlinks, some no follow to build credibility (not look to black hat) and maybe some high pr back links

Outsource decent quality article writing for web 2.0s at very cheap rates (<1$/1000 words) is my only suggestion. Yes, those rates are possible if you search enough...

Might take a day or two to find someone willing to do it with proper english.

You can spend 100$ on articles (100*1500=150.000 words), which is essentially 200x750 word articles, which is 6 articles/day. Feed the panda what it wants to be fed :D

Rest of the plan does sound okay.
 
I'm still a big fan of Manual High Pr Blog Comments. Especially if they are niche related, but high PR is still good. Outsource them. I think the "market" price is 50 cents each, but if you look around and buy enough, you can get down to 15 cents each.

Where are you finding these prices? I usually end up paying 75 cents+ per hundred words.

Perhaps scraping tons of high PR blogs with scrapebox and sending the list over to a worker which gets paid 1$/hour to post on them will yield better prices:D

Search hard enough and you'll find it aswell ;) I don't really want to reveal my little 'secret' to the public

EDIT: Keep in mind it's content only worth for web 2.0s. It's properly written and has proper grammar, but it isn't top-notch. Ideal for 2.0s, basically.
 
I would pocket the money and do everything by manual postings for backlinks with a jitbit mouse recorder.

He's just looking for some advice in order to avoid fucking up when working with a client who can spend 500$/month on SEO. Nothing wrong about re-assuring one's strategy and asking for suggestions/ideas in order to provide more bang for the buck and keep said client for longer

I do see your point, though :D
 
Outsource articles on the cheap and update whatever your pushing every day. Then pay 100 bucks a month at linkpushing.net and you'll be good to go. Make some guest posts on other blogs in the niche to build authority.
 
outsource the article for sure, and get a link pyramid service. after that outsource some bookmarking etc.
 
When I was starting I had clients paying 400-*00$ but I've already knew how to do the work, the rule of thumb is if you have no plan and exeprience you don't take the job.
 
Wow this thread got a bit busy.... Dont worry have plenty of experience... which is why i got chosen to do it, i just think sometimes you can get yourself stuck in a "comfortable" way of doing things... just wanted to see what others would do if it were them... i reckon i can spend around 250$ a month and get decent results which will keep them paying...
