You can try advertisments, or even mailing campaigns, get some stamps and a phone book and mail out your ads.

Being in a town like mine, you have one major store like Wally World where everyone goes at least 2-5 times a week, putting flyers on cars would send a lot of traffic to your landing page or affiliate offer.

Don't take this guy seriously. I really think he's drunk.

Get a load of leaflets done, and go to your nearest large city. Now go in front of DVD stores and give leaflets to people who are coming out. That way you will know that the people are interested in DVD's you should have a better sign up ratio. This will cost you very little. Or contact the cinema and ask to promote there. I have heard that showing your ads on the screen before the movie is very cheap.

Ask your affiliate manager beforehand if it is ok. Because what will happen is that you will have a very high click through ratio - like around up 90%. Explain him what you are planning to do and because in the end of the day he leads will be valid, he/she would be ok. If not then send some junk traffic in order to get the ctr % down.
