as per the title, what would you do with the domian name ralphlauren.me??

am new to this whole making money on the internet scheme, have no idea where to start... i saw the domain available and thought i must be able to do something with it lol

any pointers, ideas would be greatly appreciated

Waste of money.
Always come up with an idea instead of buying the first thing you see.

I would write an eBook about my top secret method to making $1,000 a day with .ME domain names and sell it for $9.97 on WF, and mention that you currently have a .ME name that is making you $3,000 daily that you will give to a random customer after your eBook sells at least 100 copies. Problem solved and +$997!

I wouldn't do anything with it.

If you plan to... IN ANY WAY capitilize on the Ralph Lauren brand name, you are cyber squatting and committing trademark infringement against one of the most heavily protected trademarked companies in the world.

On the other hand... if your name happens to be ralph lauren, or the site is a car part review site, or something unrelated to Ralph Lauren products, go for it.

But I'm sure you snagged a worthless tld for the purposes of getting a benefit of the EMD for Ralph Lauren....

No big deal, amateur mistake. It would have been a great idea in 1999. (well, if you got the .net or something...)

You could throw up a site, clearly breaking the law, hoping Ralph Lauren attorneys contact you, and then sell it to them for a grand. (a law suit would cost a lot less.. but they might just sue you)

Park it, don't use it and don't renew it. Maybe you can make enough money on the parked page's ads to cover the money you wasted on the domain name.

Having bought several pointless domain names on a whim in the past, I now have a policy where I must sleep at least one hour and take a shower before I buy a domain name. Or instead I must consult my wife ;) This saves me hundreds of dollars each year.
