I have a platform that I am thinking of letting users opt into sharing their residential IPs as apart of our program.

It seems like pool sizes are huge, would any preexisting service buy these? Would be looking at around 10,000 residential IPs. What would you do if you were in this situation?

if the pool can make money, then think about how to make more money, I don't know much about IP, I only use IP to make PBN (Different IP For Each Domain)

Haven’t really monetized it, more trying to see how people would go about monetizing it since it seems like there are a few options.

Using some sort of SDK like swarmbytes and letting them handle everything

Finding companies that resell proxies and sell to them

Creating our own proxy selling service and sell directly to end consumers.

Only thing I’m a bit worried about is how we can protect ourselves legally, like if someone did something illegal on the proxies if we sell them to people

yes i think better if its legally, i also decide to make an limited company so i can protect my services and make a "trust" for my customer

Been hard to figure out exactly what’s considered legal and what’s not with this IP stuff lol
