Mannnnnnnn,

For the past 2 weeks I have been heavily researching, plotting how I should approach IM, E-Com etc..
Sadly :D I am one of those people that has a solid foundation in a few areas. Narrowing down my focus has been an issue.

Here's my dilemma;
I am passionate about music in all sense. Through my full time job, my production, mixing skills and even through some consulting.
Looking to make a presence online I am now asking myself if it is wrong to use the information I work with at my 9-5 to create a blog about music analytics.
So for example, I do projections and forecasting with some of the tools that we have access to.
Is it wrong to use that to my advantage and write some great content behind it and if so is it possible to do so without exposing myself necessarily.

I see it as just exporting the data which I'm allowed and have access to and telling a story about it on my blog while obviously omitting where it's coming from.

I need sincere replies as to YES it's wrong don't do it or Who cares, just make sure it's unique.

The information you are going to provide is probably already shared on the internet so i don't see something wrong with it but if you are going to use your name and don't want to lose your job better ask where u work first.

Thanks, does that apply to information that is not on the internet for free? Paid tools.
