Yea that’s what I have in mind. Do you think reposting from bigger news sites with WP Automatic will work? + maybe use the GPT feature to rewrite the content and then publish?

It could work if implemented properly, you'd however definitely need to rewrite the articles to look original while still providing value to the reader. If you do it with GPT, definetely proofread and alter the article with a human touch.

Throw in affiliate marketing in your "news" - cloak the links so it looks like the people you are an affiliate for are paying to put adds up and collect off every sale you make.
Then if people actually pay you to put up adds, see what nets you more.
