What would you do with a billion dollars?

oh man your thinking is great. But I am not like you and mentally weak. This Billion Dollar can make me mad. If I were in mind, first I will ensure the best life for my parents and investing for full-feel their dreams. And then I will try to set up my life like you.

Technically, when you first spend your first $$$ from the $1b, you would become a multi-millionaire, not a billionaire anymore ;)

that's right and wrong right as in if you directly touch the 1 billion then yes your correct and wrong as in not unless if your eating off the interests alone then you will still remain a billionaire

Interesting question! Unlike before, now I definitely know what should I do with 1B dollars...

First I will buy a house on every continent. Then I will start to build schools (elementary and high school) where the kids will learn how to think instead what to think.

Second thing will be hospitals where people can have access to all natural cures and never have to fear form AIDS or Cancer.

Third thing will be giant super markets where there will be 2 types of products: GMO and Organic. GMO products will be marked and the price will be x3 bigger then the Organic products.

What do you think about this? :)

Like buying a new car, some crazy master PS and Play Station or maybe some jet? :)

Well, definitely I am gonna need all of that staffs if I like to spend my rest of the life it those houses around the world. I am gonna need the car so I can travel to my schools an hospitals, the PC and the Play Station when I will like to chill out with my family or friends and definitely the jet if I like to visit every house that I will own on every different continent! :D
 
I've thought about this a lot.

One account with $100 million to pay the following people for the rest of my life (with interest earned on the account):
Personal physician, financial planner, lawyer: $250,000 per year each
Personal veterinarian: $150,000 per year
Personal trainer, chef, masseuse, nutritionist, "concierge", cleaning specialist, mechanic, auto detailer: $50,000 per year each (average)

$300 million: $10 million handed to each member of my and my wife's extended family. $20 million each for parents.

$100 million: Invested in wonderful properties in all of my favorite cities. Cleaning specialist and concierge for each place, each live-in with their own bedrooms and free reign of the house when we aren't there.

$300 million: Invested in things chosen by the financial planner to offer the best return on investment with the least risk.

$100 million: Donating to charities, startups, and causes of my and my wife's choice.

$100 million: Fun money, live off this, buy cars, etc.
 
200,000,000$ = donation (buy food n give it to em, create container house, buy small farm for them to plant etc, medical
200,000,000$ = keep in da bank, and eat the interest (for backup)
100,000,000$ = buy gold (for backup)
400,000,000$ = buy property house, land, farm as backup asset, & investment (from various of country) (for backup)
50,000,000$ = invest in few startup business.
50,000,000$ = travel around the world(but still stay in 3-4 star hotel like regular people), buy 1-2 sport cars, party hard. then I have no idea what i need to do anymore?? since all other people busying with a rat race. maybe just read bunch of books, play game, meditation (doing some weird spiritual stuff), till I get old and die.
 
I have to another idea also...

I will build new movie industry and offer the actors x3 salary from Hollywood maximum payment. Then I will choose a group directors who will work on the movies who help humanity to exit this Matrix system.

Movie revolution just like in the Matrix movie. I will be Morpheus and the directors Neo.

P.S. I am sure that after I do this step, my days will be numbered, but I don't care! :D
 
I would bank enough for me and my family to live on comfortably for the rest of our lives. I would help others to improve their quality of life with the rest of the money. That would keep me satisfied that I had made a difference for those less fortunate than me.
I wouldn't open a business and have all that stress, why should I if I'm rich?
