2 years later... I'm living the greatest life in the world without having to put my soul into a restaurant job where I get screamed at by Karens.

I'm sitting on the beach of Hawaii sipping on my margarita while watching over my own company of 50+ employees..... Yes, that's right!

The CEO of Dunder Mifflin and Los Pollos Hermanos.

Ask with your girlfriend where to invest and make a startup business with your gf. You both get more love, more money and specially you guys get happiness for everyday .

Hello! How are you today? (tonight for me, 1:30 am rn)

I'm just curious what would you do with 50.000 dollars? Whatever, to make more money, spend for fun, rent, debt or anything you want...

Especially for me.. I'm more interested in making money. I won't tell you do I have that much money or not :D but anyway I'm from Kiev (Ukraine) and here I need about $400 monthly for life with my girlfriend... and that's for all, like a food for both ($150), fuel for a car ($120) and other stuff ($120).

So I'm curious what is better to spend money to earn more money... But my interest is not limited only by earning money, so what's your choice? :)

@Social God lovely post

Paying a low mortgage is the best luxury there is.

I always tend deviate from the topics because I really like to share my experience. It's better than asking HOW TO MAKE MONEY?? Right..
I am from the Netherlands which is a fairly prosperous country and we have lots of guest workers. I'd love to brag about my brother because I am proud AF. He saved 50k euros, bought a 250k house and is renting a studio (which is a part of the house with own shower, kitchen, and front door) for more money than he is paying for the mortgage. So this guy is living for free and paying of his mortgage accelerated. He is now looking to buy his 2nd house at his 34th age

That's what everybody should really do with 50k

Interesting Question, OP. Since I need a bit of distraction for myself, let's dive into some imagination!

So I think you meant what I would do IF I get $50k, right? Because if I already had $50k with me, I wouldn't be keeping such an amount in cash.

With that taken care of, my next question would be- How did I get the $50k in the first place? I must've either earned it through work/business or got an inheritance. Or even a lottery, maybe.

If the said process (through which I received $50k) is doable and can be realistically repeated (via some buss/work), and I have major control over the outcome, I'll reinvest most of the amount into it. As much as 75% ($37.5k)

5% ($2.5k) of the amount goes into crypto (and HODL). Maybe divide between bitcoin, chain, and ripple. I don't know for sure, but definitely in some or the other crypto.

Since this calculation is based on the fact that I can repeat such a transaction, I'll put 10% ($5k) of the cash in clearing some debts, hoping to clear them all in a short period.

5% ($2.5k) would be invested in instruments I can easily convert into cash any time (gold, bank deposits, etc).

2.5% ($1.25k) would be invested in stocks (HODL).

2.5% ($1.25k) goes to charity.

So here we are, 50k settled in full.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Now let's think of the other possibility where I receive $50k through luck, a one-time affair. My priorities would definitely change. So would my investment.

I'll clear ALL my debt first- $20k (40%)

Charity- $1.25k (2.5%)

Gold, bank deposits, etc.- $5k (10%)

Invest and HODL in Crypto- $5k (10%)

Spend on a vacation / PS5 / Mac, etc-
$1.25k (2.5%)

Pay for future bills, insurance, etc- $1.25k (2.5%)

Spend on family and friends, imp home improvement stuff, etc-
$2.5k (5%)

Stocks (and HODL)- $1.25k (2.5%)

Invest in my business- 12.5k (25%)

I hope that answers your question, somewhat.

NOTE- Taxes aren't considered for ease of understanding on a global level.

I would spend it all on myself then tell everyone I gave it to charity.

Double benefit : you look like you did charity but you donated it all to yourself.

Just like real billionaires do!

Most charity is just billionaires donating to their own charity, they then spend on the non-profit credit cart and file everything as an expense on the non-profit org.
