Okay,

So I have $300 to invest in the creation of articles. So this is my plan...

STEP 1: Find long-tail keywords related to affiliate products. The criteria for the keywords are..

- Should have less than 50,000 in-quotes search results on google.

- Should have a search volume of at least 300 per month according to the Google Adwords Keywords Too.

STEP 2: Get as many as possible articles written in the $300.

STEP 4: Submit all the articles to HubPages

STEP 5: Us the articles to drive traffic to my clickbank hop links and slap Google Adsense on them too.

STEP 6: Take two of these articles per day and submit it to all the social bookmarking sites.

STEP 7: Go for a walk.....find a wife....enjoy life.

STEP 8: Hopefully see the money roll in......ideally for a long term.

Can you please tell me if this plan makes sense to you. Is it a good idea? Is it a long-term idea?

Thanks for your input guys!!

I would go for higher than 300 searches per month, that is incredibly low. Try at least 1500 IMO.. good luck!

Why dont you buy your own domain and hosting. work on your site until it ranks 1st page in google and get traffic.

You just dont buy articles and leave it there as it is and it will generate $$. There are also work involve in it like promotion. Sometimes blackhat tech is the only key for fast money.

Or you could do what the other guys do,buy domain/host and install wordpress on it,install also autoblog stuff, giveaway the free service to these guys and with all the links and promotion they will make your domain will rank very high ,leaving you to use it as a multi-landing page with many blogs for the products you promote.
Then you make some children with your wife

Buy some domains and start redirecting them to products and pimp those links!

If you want a "long term" plan, be sure to invest in your own websites. Put articles on your own websites, and squeeze visitors into a list.

Traffic is temporary. PPC, articles, SEO, whatever - it all comes and goes. You put out an article, a social bookmark or whatever else, you get a burst of traffic and then it gets buried under the avalanche of new submissions from other people.

What you need to do is grab hold of people as they fly past your website and make sure you can contact them again.

Think of it this way. You might get 100 visitors per month. That's a flat rate - 100, 100, 100, 100, 100, 100, 100...

If you squeeze 10% of your visitors into a list, and get them to come back to your site once per month, your traffic will look like this: 100, 110, 121, 133, 146, 161, 177, 194, 214 and so on.

I would suggest using an EA i made and invest into the forex market :D I rarely get any "close at stop" trades.

this isn't a horrible plan, as it's how I made some of my first money online (and actually still bringing in 60-80 $ a month.) Only difference was that i wrote the articles myself, so outsourcing doesn't sound like a bad idea if you can get it done cheap enough.

One thing I would consider adding to this master plan though, is a 'presell' splash page in between the article and the clickbank hop page. Lots of good info up on how to write copy for this type of page, but basic format goes something like this:

I had this problem
I found this "Miracle" solution
Now I don't have that problem
If you are interested, check this out.

Presell pages are all over the internet, it's what a large chunk of CPA marketers do to get CC submit offers to work (myself included).

The bonus is that the articles you submit will have backlinks to your website where the splash page is located, so it will gain some authority in the SEs and you'll actually be able to branch out and promote other offers in that same niche from that site with relative ease. Another plus is that you can actually dominate the front page of Google if you submit the article to enough ezine/article sites, and your page should be in the top too.

Hope that helps, good luck!

STEP 5: Us the articles to drive traffic to my clickbank hop links and slap Google Adsense on them too.

don't use clickbank and adsense together. it's better to just pick one or the other as the subject of your articles and write your articles specifically for that purpose. that way your traffic is more targeted towards your monetization source and you end up making more money.

I would buy as many cheap articles as possible, Then resell them at AC. 2$ per 300-500 word article. I think i could get 1$-1.25 per spun article.

200-300$ profit then i would probably buy a bunch of silver

Why not use the money to create your own product and then flip the website for $500+ and start a website flipping career?

You can easily buy 30 quality articles on a good niche for around $150 then combine them into a free report and a good size quality product. Getting a mini-site w/graphics is around another $100 or so and then you're set.

List the website for sale on sitepoint or flippa for $500, sell it, rinse and repeat.

If I have $ 300 with me I wll hire a good writer make him write 60 quality articles, on those niche which are in demand, @ $5 per articles.
I will package those 60 articles as PLR. And I will sell those 60 PLR articles for $30.
Lets do a quick maths here

10 sales = $300
25 sales = $750
50 sales = $1500

Later if I get good sales i might even buy a domain and create a site on PLR articles. and automate the sale process and of course I can always enjoy life with my wife.

I thought the general consensus was to aim for keyword with more than 1500, 2000 exact searches / month. But I guess to each their own :)

300 searches a month is borderline low.. Say your hubpage gets on #1, which only translates to 40% of the clicks = 120 clicks / month.

$300 would get you 100 short articles, max. Let's say you get all 100 articles to rank #1 (near impossible, but let's say), that's 12,000 clicks a month to your HubPages.

Let's say your HubPages get a 10% CTR (that is being pretty optimistic, considering if you presell well), that's 1,200 clicks / month to your Clickbank product page.

Say you manage to do a really good presell, you might manage a 5% conversion which translates to 60 sales. At an average of $30 commission, that's $1800 a month, a pretty decent amount.

Of course the alternative is none of your HubPages rank and you lose all $300 posting articles you own on a site you don't own. Which would suck.

What I would do is probably get a generic domain name (brandable), post the articles up slowly, and SEO individual pages within your site. Eventually you'll get more organic traffic that way, and it's long term since YOU own the site.

To be honest..... I would personally take that 300 notes & go have a really good night out on the town then spend the next day recovering, then the day following that sitting at my computer for 16 hours doing a combination of the following.... 1. Making bots to some of the tedious load, 2. Using software (lots found here at BHW) for some of the tasks, & the remaining parts I do myself. Prob a solid 16 hours of work.

I will save $150 and using $150 i will take hosting,i will create one nice website and i will add some content and i will sell here for more bucks.
