What would you do to generate $500 today?

I'm curious what you would do if you were in that situation? Assume you have no list and no money to purchase products to resell.

What are some ways you would generate cash today?

If you wanted to start making money ASAP, I would go to DP and write articles, or design some logos. I have never been able to put up a site and instantly make money off of it without PPC.

I guess you could create a HubPage or Squidoo Lens and stumble and digg it ...
 
This is starting to become a new popular thread, just asked in different ways. If I was in that situation and desperately needed it I would go out and get a job and make the money in a week. Probably the most guaranteed way.
 
I just can say that there is no magic rod for turning copper to gold immediately.
 
I had this discussion the other night with some friends and that is what caused me to put it out here. SOme interesting ideas were raised. If you had some unfinished product that you were creating yourself, you could offer them up as MRR on DP or as a wso. Designing header graphics (similar to Deskcoder's idea).

$500 is not a huge amount and if you were to add, "$500 or you lose your car/home" to the end of that you could find a way. Now that is serious and would cause you to pull out all the stops.
 
Taking the next possible job (even if it is cleaning toilettes). Resigning for leisure time, explaining gf or wife that I do not have time to much for the next few month. Using this time to start reading, reading, reading on bhw for at least 2, 3 weeks. Same time analyzing, checking out free tools, study google search results daily and starting a web project on this experiences.

And keeping in mind my main target: $500 a day. Make it as screensaver on the monitor, write it on a paece of paper and stick it on the wall in front of the computer. Stick a copy of this paper on the mirror at the bathroom etc. etc.

I know it is not exactly, what you've asked for, but it is a save way and if you work consequent on it, sucess comes for sure.

$500 a day? If your hot, sell your body, else just do some ewhoring for 20hours straight.
 
I'd definitely sell my kidney OR I'd find a couple of homeless guys who want to make some money and sell their kidneys'.

Just kidding, I'd build content sites, write 25 articles and sell them in a package as PLR articles on many different IM forums.
 
Just borrow $500 from a friend and give them $600 back at the end of the month. LOL

Don't you still have to invest and pay a fee to have your MRR posted on DP or WSO? It's not free y'know.

It's free to post a sales thread on DP, you have to pay a fee only at the Warrior Forum. I think it's around $20/WSO at the Warrior Forum.
 
You can go do all sorts of things online, but its hard to get your hands on that money TODAY, due to waiting for a payout from an affiliate or 2+ days transferring from your Paypal account.

Get on Craigslist and look for work. Post ads for hauling, cleaning gutters, painting, cleaning etc. and get paid in cash today

Sell what i had of value

Walk downtown and ask everyone single person you see for $1 for the bus

Stand on a popular corner with an empty gas can and a sign saying "need money for gas"

Personally though if i really needed money today, i would probably ask 5 friends for $100.
 
I would steal copper pipe from empty houses and sell it.
