Just reveal the URL of his website here and let the Black Hatters decide what to do .. lol

I would first get his IP, not hard if he's known to you, and then keep the pages as is for his ip or subnet, or even his region using a geoip script.

I'd then turn the entire site into cloaked pages, doorway pages, meta refreshes, pop-ups, iframes, hidden iframes and 1px iframes based on ip. He sees the site and it looks normal. Everyone else, including Google, sees everything they hate. He gets sandboxed and he has no idea why. (Also add meta tags of no-cache meta tags.)

I'd maybe even direct all domain requests to a 404 apart from his ip, which would also be cool.

Whatever you do just remember the old adage that revenge is a dish best served cold. Don't be hasty but play him and leave him wondering if you are being straight or planning to screw him. Lineup a new girlfriend in the interim and it will make your play seem even more plausible to him. Use time as your best weapon.

as soon as he notices his serps & sales slowly dropping get him to order your services for appropriate (HIGH!) fee.
This time make sure your seo sucks but do it a way that you can send him reports etc.
Use the suckyseo-freetime to make a new site in same niche and become #1.
Find someone to put his name on the new site whois for a small % of the profit.

then be like "that new site along with the other competitioner sites have really good seo but If I put alot more work into it next month we will probably get back on top"
you can play that game for months and always make sure he stays in the serps where he can barely pay your services and at the same time dominate his niche with your new site.
that way you might be able to make him to actually pay you more than he is earning as he thinks he'll be back on top.

See a lawyer. If you are absolutely certain that there is NOTHING that can prove that you built the site for him or gave it to him, then do whatever you want with it. Change the affiliate links, do a 301 redirect to a new site, or just burn it to the ground and enjoy the warmth . . .
