What would you do if something like this happened?

I posted yesterday but it was deleted. sad. My site was attacked, and someone copied my site. I wrote all my posts but he copied all mine. But Google put him at the top and pushed me back. Maybe my site will never go up again, but I hope he gets pushed to the back page. Tell me what I can do to push him back.

What would you do if something like this happened? Is it right to just re-create the site? It took me two years to get this site to the top of Google.

Does he have more authority as google ranking theirs on top? You can always report tho.

Who do you report to? Google doesn't take reports so easily. Someone made a YouTube video similar to my text manuscript before, but Google didn't impose any sanctions on them.

File a DCMA report. Have done the same thing for a crypto project in the past, Google took action within 7 days are removed the offending domain from appearing in ANY searches including for the offending domain name.

I would try contacting their host with a DMCA report. That is a really frustrating situation. Hopefully it is just a bot that copied you and not someone who wants to have you as an enemy who will just create a new site and copy you again.
Well. It is a person who gives instructions to the robot, and the person's technology is sophisticated and surpasses that of Google. I've already challenged Google accounts for bot-scraping my text on YouTube, but their accounts are still working fine. I know there's no point in reporting it to Google. Also, since Google gives them the information of the person who reported it as copyright, I've had to get countless emails from them.

Report DMCA to their webhost, they will take it more seriously. If they are hiding behind some basic cloudflare/DNS protection and can't figure out their web host, feel free to PM me the domain and I will find it for you.

wow, that's just extremely frustrating. Like the others have said, a DMCA is probably your best bet to take the dude down since yours is originally more aged.

If you own your content and can prove it, you only need to reach out to the web host of your competitor.

Do you have any way of proving that you published first? Is there any kind of server log that proves this?

This type of thing does happen but in another way.

Usually, some scrapers would use software to monitor a website they want to copy.

They automatically scrape and publish content from that website as soon as it publishes something.

Sometimes Google will rank the republished content faster than the actual source.

People have complained about this problem before.

One notable example: the guys from Income School are frequent victims of this 'strategy.'

Report to dcma. Also try to find way to make scrapping your site harder

You are right. He seems to take my content as soon as it comes up. So I take too much time to prove it. I'm almost giving up. I don't want to post any more. He is bad and wants to be punished. I lost all motivation.

I had the same problem and filed a DMCA report and google and bing removed their site.
As for the new posts... easy... post a blank post... they copy it... then add all the content.

DMCA report? Seriously?

I got few other sites scraping and cloning my website. I know it from DMCA notifications, and for takedowns request they asked $300+ x 3 sites = $900+
