What would you do here... pbn or 301?

Ss i found an expired domain in my niche, My niche is very small and not too competitive so there's not many domains in this niche.

the metrics are ok it only has 15 backlinks but all very relevant by far the best expired super relevant domain i have found so far.

its a .co.uk and so is my new site.

Would you just Reg it and 301 to new site

or build it out, rebuild the linked to pages and then use as pbn?

also please not this site has not been live since 2012. dose that mean it will have 0 power?

thank you for any advice you can give me.

I would build a PBN site out of it, have some articles written with some longterm low/midlevel keyphrases and see where they rank, if they do have decent ranking I would link to my site, I used to do a lot of 301 cus I was lazy but after giving that some thought I concluded that it is totally unnatural to have 3/4/5 or more (sometimes I had 20) domains linking your site via a 301 redirect.

Also, you can link to different targets in the same niche from a PBN site, squeezing that sweet BL juice :D
 
Recommended building an expired domain.use pbn, quality article and guest post.
 
I will use it for pbn. It take more works, but it will be more effective and useful that way.
 
100% pbn. You get a lot more mileage out of it. You can use it for 3 dif pages on your money site
 
Agreed with the rest, a pbn is your best bet.

And to answer your second question, it's fine if it's been offline for a while, you will still get some of its link juice provided the domain is clean.
 
If the domain is clean, and the backlinks are good. Then Better to make a PBN
 
My competitors use 301s a lot for their domains. What I see is they get a quick ranking boost for a few months that slowly fades away. They used to be #1 for a popular search term now back on page 2 already. Not worth it IMO. PBNs will last a long time.
 
Pbn is a much better option - don’t be put off by the extra work, it will be a lot more lucrative as a pbn.

If your competitors are only doing 301s - all the more reason to go one better and do pbns.
 
Since its got a small amount of backlinks i would PBN it.
 
PBN will be the better option for you here, I'd agree with everyone. Will require a lot of work but will be more beneficial nonetheless.

I'm more or less in the same situation as the OP. I found a site with some good backlinks and content.
My question is: can I do a PBN just out of 1 page? Or PBNs has to be of multiple blogs?
Would appreciate if you can answers, thanks!
