As the title says what would you guys consider a good keyword to rank for ?

I've recently found (what i think is a good keyword) a keyword that's in the high 5 figure search volume
and competitiveness below 40 , what would your opinion on this be ?
I actually have a lot of good keywords but that's one i'm thinking of doing some serious link building too or buying some really good pages to rank first :D

Please share your opinions

Define "good". A good keyword could be worth $1000, have zero competition and a million searches per day.

What I mean by good is a keyword that is profitable, has high search volume and can be ranked for easy enough.
for example fitness in our cases would not be a good keyword to rank because of all the competition

A good KW would have a minimum1000,000 monthly searches, CPC of $1000+ and absolutely no competition. I haven't found one that matches this criteria but I've been looking for some time.

A good keyword is one that's profitable I suppose. In other words, if the stats look good, like you mentioned in your original post, the only way to find out if it's good or not is to try it out and see if it works for you.

A good keyword must have 1000+ monthly search, has ZERO competition and be able to make at least $5k a month.

Hot buying keywords. ex : laptop > cheap laptop > cheap asus laptop, buy cheap asus laptop.... Keep in mind to rank for kws that convert.

Different kind of keywords for different kind of monetization , Now what about Adsense ?

A good keyword is One having about 1000>searches with zero competition + buyers intention keyword.

Make you decent $$$ per month..

If you're just starting out, it's best to settle with as much search volume possible, and as less competition possible. With too high competition, even if the keyword is worth a lot, you won't be able to make any money when you're just starting from the ground up.

Let us know if you find one that matches all your credentials. I think that might be hard to find all of those.

How about 50k+ monthly with below 40 keyword competitiveness ?
Nowwww is that worth building GOOD backlinks for Adsense :D

Everybody's going to have their own definition of 'good' for a keyword. Number of searches doesn't necessarily matter so much if it's a buyer keyword that you rank no.1 for and is profitable. The keyword tools aren't even always accurate so a keyword may get alot more or alot less searches than they tell us.

Keyword must contain the words symbolizing your site or the services of your site. I think a good keyword must contains 1-2 words.
