What do you mean? A niche is just a topic, it can be as broad as anything

I think you misunderstand the meaning of "niche". A niche is just a specialized market -- it is a definable subsection of a bigger market. There's all different "levels" of niches out there, some of them very high competition with a lot of searches and some of them very low competition with few searches.

there are many types of niches, you can find easy niches with low competition with 2000 searches per month or niches with more competition with 20.000 searches per month!

As stated above, a niche is a topic, like bowling, golf, basket weaving, weight loss, insomnia, acne.

Basically, it is any subject on which you can sell a related product or make a related product to sell.

Often a good niche is what is called a "Desperate Buyer" Niche. Those types of niches normally solve some type of problem the consumer may have. It could be hair loss, getting rid of your dog's fleas, quitting smoking, reducing stress. etc.
