I'm gonna be a bit cheeky here, as although I have an interest in finding out what you guys would horde, store or save if you knew the world was going to end, it's also something I am creating a website about and looking for a bit of feedback. I've currently come to a bit of writers block, and although I've searched google for tips I just seem to come across the same things all the time.
So my question is as above. What would you guys save away if you knew the world was coming to an end. I'm thinking along the lines of tools, weapons, gadgets, power (solar panels etc), rations and anything else you could think of prepare with by buying online or at your local hardware store (important as I'll be affiliating to certain sites); the different or more unusual the better.
Take into account food will be scarce, weapons will be few (what makeshift weapons would you choose?), electricity will be out, and things will generally be put back to the dark ages where you'll have to fend for yourself in every way.
I'd appreciate any thoughts no matter how unusual.
