What Would You Buy?

I am going to use some of my profits to get one of the following what would you choose of you were me?

1) A 6GB Memory upgrade for my MacBook ( This is my main machine I use for IM and I only have 2GB in there now.) $125.00

2) Tweet Attacks Pro $147.00

I would have not choosed tweet attack if i were you

Go with the 6GB i think you will be more happy with it in the future.

I vote for 25 Fiverr gigs

If you are currently maxing out your available RAM all the time go with that! I have 6 GB high speed RAM in my laptop, coming from 2 GB, and love it. If you aren't using all your resources already the software is a better option I think; but if you are even considering it I guess I should assume you are in fact experiencing problems... say... trying to have photoshop, dreamweaver, scrapebox, bittorrent client, firefox, thunderbird email client, various chat clients, music program, etc. all open at once like I used to have issues trying to do.

Now with the 6GB do you have that problem or is it all smooth sailing.

bit expensive for ram. i can get a variety of brand name 4gb ddr3 1333mhz for $24au thats like $26-27 us shop around and try get a price match at least

It has been all smooth sailing for me. 2GB isn't even BAD to start with, it has been standard in the past for normal users hence why most of us have that amount or less. It is just we, doing what we do, are using more resources than a typical user would in most cases; being in a technology focused industry. So having 3 times as much RAM definitely is nice when you are used to being limited.

Just remember depending on your system and the task at hand there can be other bottlenecks than simply the RAM. Rendering videos or complex photo manipulation will use more power from the processor; of course without the RAM the program wouldn't have been running smooth enough to even get to that point most likely. Tranferring large files will bottleneck at the harddrive speed or other components, depending. And if you have serious spyware or a virus you will not be running smooth for sure. I am not sure of your level of technical know-how, that all could have been obvious. I would just hate to see someone spend money on RAM if the issue was related to something else!

Sorry to ramble, to sum it up, I haven't had an issue running all my programs at once with 6GB, when in the past on other laptops with 2GB RAM I had often had trouble.

I just want to make it clear I can't say for sure what amount of the differences I experienced were due to the RAM and what amount has been from other factors, since it was a totally new system not just a RAM upgrade which makes comparison of a single component difficult.
