I started making this website about 1,5 months ago (so it is still a young domain at the moment). My main competitor has 1K backlinks. Most of his backlinks come from an article that has been spun as many times as possible I assume, because they give basically the same information. He is mainly going for the money, selling ebooks on his website, but not having any good content. I'm going to go for the long run and have good content and only Adsense on my website. The other domain is 2 years old.

After researching his backlinks I found out he has about 30 profile backlinks, about a 100 blog comment links. The articles are posted on websites with quite a low PR. 1 of them is PR5, about 5 are PR3 and the rest is PR0.

What would you suggest for me to do? All his articles are found on websites that have nothing to do with the keyword. His content uses the keyword alot, but it has very little good information.

Should I boost my websites with a few high PR websites, backlink profiles and trusted forum profiles(These are on websites that are related to the keyword) and then wait for others to link to my website for the content? Or should I manually make all the links slowly?

Please let me know what you'd do. Thanks.

Hey drop down if you got a pm answer to tjis please let me know as I am in the same predicament

I'd say it is too young to hammer it right now...I would take it easy and do it all manual for the time being. What are you currently ranked? Have you seen many jumps from your efforts thus far?

Just build High PR Backlink on actual Pagerank Pages with high authority sites with article submission and forum posting then you can eat of competitor.

Kind Regards
