What would sell on youtube?

Ok so im pretty new at youtube but I have been studying on the topic and think I know just enough to have some decent success promoting that way.

Now my question relates to what I have heard; Most people that use youtube usually won't pull out their credit card for more than the $4-$7 price point.

So my thing is I am preparing to create a $17 product (way underpriced already) to promote there for a very specific untapped popular niche from my research, and I was wondering do you think it would have success since most of the people would actually find my product vital to helping them in their interests?


So do you think $17 would sell well? Or should I attempt to listen to others and go cheaper?

Forget what you have heard.

Try and optimize your video to be found by Google. Use adwords tool to find good keywords and then use these for title or video tags.

Try and make several copies of your video by editing and changing the music and water mark or whatever. That should be enough not to get flagged by YouTube and to get by their duplicate content filters.

Then use different titles for each of the copies of the video; the titles again being the different keywords you are trying to rank for.

then build some links to the videos like you would any other webpage.

May not be the most comprehensive guide but I think that would be a great start for you.

Thanks for the assistance.

I do know a bit about SEO optimizing the videos and helping them get picked up on the Search engines, and im planning on combining both youtube promotion to my site along with social media to boost both the videos and my site as well not to mention some web 2.0 properties.

The thing I am wondering though is if it would be wise to take your advice and spread the videos through multiple youtube accounts as well as using proxies to help further push the traffic to my main site?

If this would help do you happen to know a good number of videos to add per account?

I guess that would depend on how many keywords you would like to be targetting.

I mean YouTube only allow you one title per video and only a certain amount of tags.

And about the no. of accounts you should make depends on the success of your first account and videos. yes?
