Paid $15 to a writer who did 300 words - came with graphics and video - of course, the graphics and video are open source, but it made the post look better.
The $15 also includes posting and formatting on the WP site, thus, it's practically, think of a topic and get it posted by the writer.
Normally $10 for a good 300 words writeup but a little extra at $15 to get it fully automatic, is still worth it.

Combine all their texts and you have more than 300 words write up and a couple of brain cycles wasted
 
It is impossible to answer this question well without much information. It depends on the difficulty of the text, if there is nothing complicated, no more than a few dollars.

5$ is maximum price for 300 word articles, if you want articles in bulk you can minimize that price easily to 2.5$ per 300 word article.

For 600 words article I usually pay around $6-$15 depending on the quality. With sales pitch in it usually will be at the higher range. Remember to always check with copyscape tho.
 
I would say that it should be between $2.5-5. It all comes down to the quality of your writing.
