What Windows VPS Would You Recommend?

I have some questions:
1. I would like to know what is the configuration of the windows vps you guys are going in with ?
2. What is the recommended configuration if one wants to run only scrapebox ?
3. What will be the configuration if we need to use additional resources like amr,tweet attack , senuke x , scrapeboard , xrumer,etc ?
4. Is this a better bet than going in for a vps that comes preinstalled with all the software for about 50 USD a month ??

1.I am presently using CPU 2.60 GHz, RAM 1024 MB, Disk Space 90 GB and all important unlimited bandwith from xsserver.eu and I am extremely happy with it !
2 & 3.I am running SB, AMR and BMD on it, but not abusing yet .
This is probably the min. for SB.
If you are not worried about a little bit extra money, I would go for a dedicated server for all of the above.
4.It sounds like you talking about another well-known Black hat site......all I can say on this is........better to be in control yourself by paying just that little bit extra money?

Hmmm, Windows VPS. I have researched hosting all over the world, but I really have not researched Windows based servers. If you are just going to host SB and AMR on it, I would think US based or Canada based would be good.

If I were you I would search BHW. There are a couple of guys that provide reasonable VPS hosting with SB and several other applications included. I am not sure about AMR in that mix though.

I was thinking of buying an ubuntu from them and then run wine on It.

Just one thing i believe might be good for people to know.

About 3 months ago i got a VPS with xsserver the $35 package and i selected windows 2003 for the server. I only used it for a month as i just wanted to test a VPS, but i have to say scrapebox worked perfect on it. I ended up cancelling the VPS at the end of the month.

Just last week i decided to set up a VPS again but this time i got the same $35 package but chose windows 2008. Even with as low as 10 connections on scrapebox my VPS would freeze.

On the $35 VPS it comes with just over 1 gig ram. Microsoft state that the minimum ram for windows 2008 is 512mb ram but recommend 2gig ram. That basically leaves 512mb left for the VPS to struggle on especially when using scrapebox.

Minimum ram recommended by microsoft for windows 2003 is 128mb but they recommend 256mb.

I think this is why scrapebox worked so well the first time i got it on a windows 2003 server. I only reaslied this AFTER i upgraded to the $95 VPS lmao.

Im not saying that windows 2008 VPS with 1gig ram dosnt work for others but it didnt for me. But next month im going to get it changed to windows 2003

Also if anyone could let me know what server they are running as in 2003 or 2008 windows please post it here

Windows 2008 server is such a horrible joke. Its only real advantage is for IPS who like to get you in the door cheap and upsell you, as the operating system can be increased on the fly.

2008 has this thing were, to avoid conflicts in drivers, it downloads every damn driver that had ever been in existence. It fills your hard drive up with gig after gig after gig of pure crap, even when you haven't changed anything. And there's absolutely nothing you can do to delete all that junk out. Windows 2008 server will pack some extra 20+ gig on your drive and if its close to being full it doesn't matter, it'll fill every little inch of space on your hard drive.

On the other hand, I've got a stable 2003 server I've owned and hosted from for the last 5 years without a hickup.

All the above is simply hosting and running my own tools (but not SEO tools). Just something to think about.
