Once monetization is approved
Even if your subscribers are 0 and your watch time is 0
Your eligibility will remain
 
Usually, YouTube won't take away monetization as long as you don't break the rules. But sometimes, YouTube does disable monetization if your hours or subscribers fall below the required amount, even if you're not breaking the rules
