What will happen if I sell my website?

I am starting new project for my side income.
I have got my old abandonned domain (4 yrs old). Let's named it maindomain.com
What I am going to do is make this maindomain.com my amazon affiliate site then sell it when it's making around $1000/month
The thing is, it is on bluehost and it I got around 3-4 websites in this same shared hosting.
Let's say another domains name are sub1, sub2, sub3.com
I know I can access these domain by typing
sub1.maindomain.com
sub2.maindomain.com
etc.
What I would like to know is what will happen if I sell maindomain.com?
I have no knowledge about this at all, not even sure what to search for in google.
Will selling maindomain.com effect anything in my bluehost sub domains?

Yes, they won't work.
As the new owner will change the nameservers and as a result, the domain won't be pointing to your hosting.

You mean sub1.maindomain.com won't work
But if I type sub1.com it still works, right?

Exactly, they will stop working when you transfer the main domain to the new owner.

Yes, sub1.com will work just fine.

There is no need to worry, just ask your hosting company to change the primary domain that's it
