What Will Google Go After Next?

There's a lot of misinformation about SEO on the net.

But for those of us that actually have a clue about what we're talking about: any ideas or thoughts you have on what Google will go after next in the updates to come?

Please keep all bashing and arguing outside of this thread as I'm trying to start something that may become a beneficial reference at one point.

Yet another thread on G the answer to these threads is always the same

Thank you for your informative and enlightening post.

I'm looking for something descriptive and beneficial.

Google's interest is to keep their customers satisfied and to beat their competitors (Yahoo and Bing are only "serious" competition...). The sole purpose of a search engine is to help people find exactly what they want to find, and their updates will serve that purpose. I am not SEO expert so I can't predict what exactly will they do next, but I am 100% sure that they don't care about "us". They only care about MONEY and CUSTOMER SATISFACTION (because customer satisfaction brings them more $$$ and it will put them ahead of their competitors). So basically just think about what will make most money for them and you will be on the right path for predicting their updates.

The update will target people who do lazy/greedy SEO.

What is lazy SEO? Creating a blog network and blasting the same URLs to all the sites (massive footprint). Having all those posts have the same anchor text (massive footprint). Having all the posts have the exact same structure, number of OBLs, etc. (massive footprints).

They'll go after site owners who couldn't be bothered to get high quality in content links from "good neighborhoods" that usually require manual action (or at the very least some good unique content).

Smart and hard working SEOers will be fine, as they've always been.
