Why would you want a bots for a follower.
IF you are starting with twitter and you need some followers to start with, then there are high quality followers that you can find that will not get you acc banned.

Anything that that is not allowed by their TOS. People underestimate the fact that reading the TOS once and for all will prevent you from tons of bad things with your accounts.

That is the simplest way to not get banned.
From personal experience, following and un-following too quickly will get you banned. With twitter you nearly always get a second chance though - just write to them explaining that you wont do it again and they will un-ban you first time.
I mean, you also got to worry about the people you're spamming. They will report you if you piss them off.

How lenient is twitter on the websites being promoted? I've seen some sites such as@kickasstorrents promote themselves on twitter but they are only posting links to the blog page. Is it only the page that matters to twitter not the rest of the site.
