Hello Hatters, I want to build some websites and have forum but I got this feeling that forums are becoming obsolete. Is there any CMS that's likely going to rule in the future. what's your take on this?

it really depends on if your site if it needs a forum. I personally like forums i just hate the email validation. MY forum I run you just sign up and your logged in. So you can easily go right to posting.

Fortunately forums are not died and BHW is the proof. If you use Wordpress as CMS for your websites you should take a look at BudyPress or BBpress

I am a forumer of a 19 year old forum, still running like the first day. In ant case, forums won't die, they may evolve to compile with modern standards.
