Hey guys,

I thought I'd start this post to see where people are getting their work outsourced. I mean there are the usual GAF, Odesk, and elance, but maybe we can find some new sources for that.

Also what country are you hiring from?

I've tried using people from India, the US, the UK and the Philippines, and I haven't had much luck with either except actually the UK....

You also have guru.com .
But I mainly used those 3 that you refered. Always find what I'm looking for!

Is anyone using bestjobs to hire people? I wanted to start using it but it claims there is no service for employers from the US.... I guess you need to be in the Phils to get it working.

Anyone know how to do this?

Is anyone using this site at all?

hmm...is no one interested in this topic or did I post it in the wrong section?

I reccomend GAF also here is a brief description of what you get

We can help you find freelance programmers, Web Designers and Copywriters. Outsource projects to India, Romania, Ukraine or any other country.Find out why we have thousands of successfully outsourced projects. Post your project today! We can offer freelance programmers, interpreters and graphic designers the ability to work independently. As a freelancer you can choose among hundreds of outsourced projects. Join free and pay only a small commission.

See the problem with those are that you don't really get people who think for themselves or full-time employees. I've found they're usually mediocre freelancers who do an ok job, but nothing really professional.

Have you experienced otherwise?

On Plendo's sites, which I prefer (GAF, EUF etc), the real problem is finding the right people at the right price (and there are plenty, just buried under the tide of incompetent losers). Aside adding precise details about what I expect, in order to weed out the random bidders and the chronically clueless who just post their unformatted CV, I add hidden sentences in the job description. eG: "WRITE IN YOUR BID THAT THE ONES WHO DON'T READ THE BRIEFING ARE LOSERS, so I know you bothered to inform yourself about the job you ask". GAT & EUF are also messy with payments, but that's ok as long as you've some patience...
