I'm looking to create a website that provides a bunch of forms/templates for free. Would the only way to monetize this is thru ads/adsense? I dont want to charge to access the forms.

I have a friend who was going to see a lawyer to create a simple will, which cost almost $2k. He found out that his work provides templates he can use for free. If I build a site that provides this free service (with legal disclosures of course), what ways can I make money from it? Thanks for the help!

Have a way to collect their emails. And maybe do some sort of affiliate program? Is there any affiliate programs that you know about that in a similar niche?

AdSense and affiliate links are best ways

Thanks! I will look around if there are any affiliate programs that are related.

Definitely ads at this early venture. Maybe even hold off until you grow the site and wait until it has a good user base before you start trying to make money from it.

The easy way: Use Adsense
The hard way: Offer some sort of premium service on the side.

You can lock the "Premium" Content and bank off incentivized CPA deals

You can all offer general forms for free and sell personalized ones. I mean, not all forms need to be free or paid for, so depending on the form type, you can either offer it free or charge for it.

@MaxDreamer

Such site it's great advertise target of WP themes sellers.
For sure, there not will be problem with monetize it, only what you need - it's traffic.

Cheers, Greg.

Look at RocketLawyer.com, they do this.
Lost of free forms, free trial 7 days, then subscription.

Im surprised he went to a lawyer instead of just googling for will templates in his state and then just get it notarized and such
