I think the biggest mistake I made when starting out was assuming all backlinks were good backlinks and that quantity mattered more than quality. If I could skip that lesson, I'd tell anyone starting out to stop chasing a certain number of backlinks and instead focus on the quality of each one. A handful of strong, relevant links will move your site much more than a pile of low-quality backlinks.

My mistake was using low quality backlinks from places like fiverr thinking i will rank. Now after many experiences i know better

SEO changes constantly, so I've learned that you should research and test everything yourself before following anyone's advice. Also, don't discuss or argue about SEO if you don't have a solid understanding of the fundamentals. Build your knowledge first, then your opinions.

Purchased cheap bulk backlinks from Fiverr at one time. Thought i was a genius until google issued a manual penalty to the website and removed all the traffic instantly.
the most common mistake that i have committed is to focus all my energies on backlinking. i have lost quite a bit of money trying to build backlinks nd not focusing on conttent quality, internal linking nd search intent. now looking back at it i should have concentrated more on structuring the website first.

That is correct. Learning the basics first helps lay the foundation. and the harder things become clearer later.
Learning everything at once generally only slows down your process.

Early on, I chased volume, more content, more links, without checking if it matched search intent. Once I fixed that focus, results followed.

At the start i am focusing to much on the header tags and meta tags. I thought by using this with too many keywords in my blogs get me great ranking

Yes, this is a very frequent one. The thing about SEO is that there will be a huge payoff when you don’t just focus on doing things for immediate results.

Yeah, it’s pretty hard to try and figure it all out at one time. I would stay on the bsics, apply those to a project and go from there.
Yeah, been there before. Link building with links of low cost may seem impressive, but just one quality link from a relevant website could be more valuable to you in my view.
