My mistake is I was always focusing on keywords instead of search intent. One of the biggest mistakes I made was focusing too much on SEO metrics instead of creating content that actually matched user intent. Once I prioritized usefulness over numbers, the results became much more consistent.
Purchased cheap bulk backlinks from Fiverr at one time. Thought i was a genius until google issued a manual penalty to the website and removed all the traffic instantly.I guess everyone must have committed at least one wrong step when learning about SEO.
What is the mistake you committed in the beginning which either wasted your time or even money? It would be interesting to hear some practical experience from people who have done this for long.
the most common mistake that i have committed is to focus all my energies on backlinking. i have lost quite a bit of money trying to build backlinks nd not focusing on conttent quality, internal linking nd search intent. now looking back at it i should have concentrated more on structuring the website first.I guess everyone must have committed at least one wrong step when learning about SEO.

That is correct. Learning the basics first helps lay the foundation. and the harder things become clearer later.I think trying to learn everything at once is a common mistake Focusing on the basics first makes the process much easier
Yes, this is a very frequent one. The thing about SEO is that there will be a huge payoff when you don’t just focus on doing things for immediate results. My biggest mistake was expecting quick results. But it takes time, and i learned that the hard way.
Yeah, it’s pretty hard to try and figure it all out at one time. I would stay on the bsics, apply those to a project and go from there.I think trying to learn everything at once is a common mistake Focusing on the basics first makes the process much easier
Yeah, been there before. Link building with links of low cost may seem impressive, but just one quality link from a relevant website could be more valuable to you in my view.Early on, I burned a bunch of money buying cheap PBN link packages, thinking volume was the secret to gaming Google.
It took getting hit by a penalty and spending months disavowing garbage to realize that five solid, relevant links beat ten thousand automated backlinks every single time.
