Hey guys, 2025 is almost over. What was your biggest YouTube win this year, if you don’t mind sharing? And if you could give one piece of advice to people starting YouTube next year, what would it be?

Biggest win would be finally diving in to it, finally have the guts to take the first step. Hoping to gain more followers this coming year!

My best moment was steady growth all year, and my tip is to focus on one niche and not quit early.

Probably that there is notable passive income even after not dropping any videos for a month or two.

My biggest win was creating a 'How-to' video for my own brand; it felt like a legal cheat code because people watched the tutorial and then accidentally bought my products!

Finally hit 500 followers on a very niche, but very organically grown channel. Now to figure out how to get those watch hours to 3k organically! ;-D

And my advice, try to figure out what your audience likes.

Did you yourself do it ? How is the performance of first.channel ?

My biggest success this year is finally seeing persistence win over viral spread. Consistently posting videos in a specific niche has led to far more reliable views and subscribers than chasing trends. If I had to give one piece of advice to beginners in 2026, it would be to define your niche early, prioritize user retention over clicks, and give the algorithm clear, consistent signals

Our biggest success was that we got into a completely new nichei n 2025 october and just when 2026 hit, the past few days, all of our channels are blowing up.

Biggest advice- stay consistent for minimum 4 months, before you decide whether your videos, your channel is worth continuing or not, generally blow ups happens at the end of 3 months of consistent uploading , in some cases also 6 months to 1 year, however 4 months can be a good indication of what needs to be improved, make strategic changes and etc.

Goodluck to everyone starting a channel.

One piece of advice for 2026 starters:
Optimize for retention, not views. Views come after the algorithm sees people stay. Nail the first 2 seconds, then repeat what works — don’t reinvent every video.

My greatest achievement is that I was able to grow my channel from zero to 100k subscribers in a year and earn $7k. I spent every day working on it, and in the end, I achieved my goal.

2 channels that made me 5000€
Currently working on new channels.
I need to get 5000-7000€ again. Then I can relax.
