I run a campaign for 2 weeks now and it has 0.192% CTR.
I buy website clicks only from the right column of desktops.

Does it count as a good or bad CTR?
    What's yours?

I'm not really experienced with cpc, so i have no idea if i am doing it right or not.

Just for informations you can ge ta free facebook scraper on the "Give away" section, that BTW is a way more efficient than Ulead Pro ;) To answer OP, I got 10% CTR but 0 conversion because my product was pretty bad. I think it really depends of the product and the targeting, the nationality as well...

I've done some work on FB. I would say your CTR is OK, but not brilliant. My highest CTR was around 0.75%, but average was anywhere about 0.1-0.2%.

Another important component is your targeting by Interests. If you target right people, even with crappy ad, your CTR will sky-rocket. You should really think in a combo: ( ad + targeting ) = magic.

I was doing some ads for likes in a dog niche and difference between the best and worst ad was $0.03 and $0.35, on the same Interests targeting. It took me more than 50 ads to find that one that was a real champion.

CTR is completely different based on the ads you are running.

    We've got:

    1. Desktop Newsfeed
    2. Mobile Newsfeed
    3. Right hand column

The CTR averages for Newsfeed are easily 10x what you get on RHC ads but the CPMs are higher so it's not like the clicks are way cheaper just because of the CTR.

.192 is probably slightly above average for RHC ads running right now but it's all relevant - sume niches need much higher CTR for lower CPCs while in a niche like gambling in AU that would be a very good CTR. Is the CPC profitable for you? That's what matters.

Well I just launched a really small campaign to test the waters with a nice affiliate marketing offer I found.. My first day rounded out with a CTR of 0.24%. The budgets very small, so I'm just waiting on more data before I start making improvements.

Actually as Sasha said, your CTR is low. HOWEVER, this is not the end of the world. Ever since FB updated to bigger ad images, the CTR went up big time.

Also, in many cases it's better to have a stable CTR of 0,2% and good amount of conversions than 0,9% and getting tons of curious clicks.

Currently my newsfeed ads are around 10% CTR and for right hand side about 0.5 but I guess niche has a lot to do with it...

CTR is incredibly contextual to the ad and placement, and not necessarily a great indicator of business results. .2% isn't the worst, and really just means there's room to optimize.

What do you guys think about lookalike audiences?

After getting 100 clicks with your conversion pixel set up you can create a lookalike audience. It must convert better well, or am i wrong?

my best fb ctr is 5% on news feed

and have 1-1.5% on right ads.

0.1-0.9% CTR is low in my opinion

use strange images, unusual, it will make big ctr, and split test 10-50 images.

I've seen 24% CTR, I think that is the best I've seen so far.

Targeting clients with filtering age, interests and also active facebooking time should increase your stat. Tweak around and see how things change.
