What Use can you do of a Proxy Scraper?

Hello, that's a newbie question.

I found in other forums a few proxy scrapers and checkers.

What's the benefit of using it?

"CHECKS HTTP/SOCKS4/SOCKS5"

Checking a proxy is testing whether it works or not. A proxy scraper simply goes through public lists and returns proxies to you. They are most likely used & abused by everyone so no one will like them.

The answer above sums it up to what proxy scrapers and checkers do.

Now, in regards to usage, if you do not need proxies for your projects, then there isn't a lot of need for scrapers or checkers.
