What upcoming trends do you see?

Could be a trend for sellers I guess. Not for consumers... or do you have an idea?
For consumers it will be great. Very low transaction costs, super fast transactions. Its like sending an email.

Every user of Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp etc. can get Libra. Don't forget there are still so many people out there who don't own any bank account. It will make transactions so much easier. No more high currency exchange fees or rates.

Therefore is Libra a great idea and got great potential. The only question is how Facebook and co. are going to make it. It could be great, but it could also be bad. Right now its really hard to say if it is top or flop. If they are doing it right it will be awesome.

In the very long term there will be a crypto/digital currency being the reserve currency. I guess this will happen after the next financial crash.

Elon Musk came out with a neural link. People can now control phones and shit with their brains.

So... that's pretty new.

I think the need for content quality and search algorithms is going to skyrocket even more.

Interesting thoughts, thanks for sharing!

A.I. is the game changer, it is the beginning of the end. Think about it. A.I. will push most human activities out. A.I. will take over videos, content creation, publication, production, A.I. will produce almost anything and everything you wanted in video and audio industries, including apps, software, the list is endless, it will basically make the internet it's little bizsnatch and do with it as it pleases as well as reproduce a thousand fold whatever fb, google, youtube, other social media giants have accumulated over decades, it will do within weeks, even days.....the window for the majority of middle of the pack and below human beings profiting off of these new frontiers which are scarcely inhabited is closing....once A.I. is let loose, they'll oversaturate every market (and you thought China was bad?), that only the very elite and distinguished human beings may still have a chance to have a piece of pie with their own abilities to produce things that may be able to compete and be on the level of A.I. Again, I say, approaching 8 billion humans, of what % of those people are game changers and revolutionaries who can change the world? Less than 1/100th of a percent. A.I. can populate itself into uncountable numbers of minds and "people", A.I. will basically consume and eat up every available resource that was left unchartered and unmolested for the humans who would have been able to live off it, profit of it, etc. A.I. will take up over 90% of it and there will be very little left for the rest of us. Whatever you can think of, it will think 1 million time more things in a fraction of the time it would take us. Many of you already heard about Neural Link....well A.I. is already that and more....in fact, Neural Link will be mankind's best hope to have a chance to compete else merge and join with A.I. The question is, what exactly are human beings going to be useful for then? Why do we exist and in large alarming numbers once A.I. is full blown? As it was said, A.I. will be the last human invention. There is no question without a doubt, A.I. technologies will be the next big thing....A.I. analysts, investors, traders, imagine the analytics and insights it would be able to do for you....who needs a human stock broker...an A.I. stock broker would be 100x more efficient and can work for you and your company 24/7 non stop. A.I. police officers, cyber crimes unit, surveillance, they'd be able to keep tabs on every single human being right down to every beat of your heart...can you imagine that? The next superstars will be A.I....in sports, A.I. intelligences will compete against each other as that will be more interesting to see them battle instead of watching human beings compete against each other like we have been doing for 2000 years. The possibilities are endless.

I think digital currency will be the next thing. There has been a mad boom of eWallets lately.

Not specifically for crypto, but for digital representations of cash. Social is looking this way as well.

Wechat then Facebook.

No one will carry cash around anymore.

Digital currency is crucial to desensitise the masses to accept that digital representation of money is OK.

Eventually there will then be a merge of crypto and everyone will be able to accept crypto.

Then, and only then, crypto will moon big time.

Maybe not mainstream crypto, but one that meets in between decentralization and government control (XRP?).

Anti aging pills. Read somewhere where it’s still in beta stages and will soon be implemented come 2045 or so.

Drugs are definitely illegal, but electronic cigarettes can be legal in my opinion.

Libra is a stable-coin, it's value won't fluctuate. It's scary because they will control the data AND the lending...game over. Why do you think the gov is fighting it so hard?

Environment-friendly stuff will become a hot new trend in 2020. Just take a look at all this hysteria, eco-activism, mass eco protests (you never seen that before 2019, didn't you?), little Swedish girls lecturing everyone, etc. etc. It's easy to see that all eco-friendly stuff will become increasingly popular in 2020, mark my words.

Not a bad call.

some new, some more like here to stay:
climate change, eco activism, Greta Thunberg, Fridays for Future
decluttering, minimalism
in fashion I see a 90s revival (belly-free tops, mum jeans, oversized blazers, chunky boots)
Trump vs. the Democratic candidate
scandals like Weinstein, Epstein, more revelations, more famous people dragged into it
flying air taxis, drones that carry people
a real Hoverboard like in Back to the Future

physical objects that will be in fashion this year? some patents that have just been confirmed. Any products to bring to Europe? do you have ideas?

This, for sure. And then people will be buying their own passenger drones instead of cars.

Not sure how it'll work though - all it takes is for someone to forget to break and you'll be rear-ended... 1000 feet in the air!

I would tend to agree with the rapid advent of AR and the continued growth of CBD.

AR really depends on what Apple decides to release as its new flagship product but I could easily see smart phones disappearing as quickly as they appeared

Cannaphrodisiacs both CBD and THC) aimed at the female market experienced massive growth last year and I think psychedelics will join the mix this year.

Sex dolls will continue to see enormous growth again this year thanks to increased competition, and we will also see the spread of more and more sexbot brothels. At the same time webcam studios will continue to expand for a few more years until AI controlled digital avatars take over completely.

I do not think that digital currency has much room for continued growth unless we see some kind of new paradigm introduced. The biggest market for new cryptocurrency users is those that do not have bank accounts but this is a contradiction, as how do you get involved in digital currency if you do not have a bank account in the first place.
