All websites can make money it depends on how you set it up and how you bring traffic, if you can do WordPress websites start from there , create your own websites with your project and on the side start a blog also talking about "Websites" find a not so competitive niche and go from there , you can start bringing traffic for your own web design offers make money that way sell websites on WordPress, you can start your own selling thread here on BHW Marketplace , its not easy or fast but if you keep to it its possible !
WordPress environment is an option to open wide page for upload of help content for researchers and other benefit to certain monetize page,choosing niche depend on experiences for good website post/contribute.

So you know how to install the McDonalds of CMS. You know how to add text, and probably make a blog. But who wants to read your content anyway? Can't you make something more signaficant than just ANOTHER blog?! lol havn't you seen how many blogs there actually is. Fair enough a blog about something you have been doing for some of your life. If you are a club league cricket player, or footballer? Maybe you have experiance in your city as a tourist guide, and ancinet history in your country and others has always inspired you?
What are you good at? Or what are your hobbies?

It isn't worth making a blog about information you heard on the grapevine, or are not an expert in yourself from hands on experiance. There are only a few real leaders and experts in any niche. Building a blog, about what you don't know, or even just using AI to do the work, makes you neither an expert or leader.

You need to pick an idea or a monetization strategy and think about CMS, hosting, etc. later. Creating WordPress websites is not a skill in demand as millions of others can do it. You need to find a niche or idea based on your personal experience and proceed from there.

Just knowing wordpress is not enough. Learn SEO, blogging in general. Do some niche and keyword research, understand what you'd like to write about, think about your monetization methods, if you want to make money through just display ads or even affiliate marketing.
