What Type Of CPU Is Best For Running Massplanner?

I am currently building a computer to run massplanner and nothing else (I know I could just go with a vps... i have my reasons).
My question is will a core i3-6100 be enough to handle multiple operations from over 50 accounts or do I need something more powerful like a i5-6500?

That cpu will be adequate for what you've described.

I'd like to add, that Intel are going to be cutting prices to match the new AMD cpu's, so if you wait a few days you might be able to get a better chip for the same $$$.

check greencloud VPS massplanner VPS specs (i am not related to them) and see their specs. Then look to emulate them

I had the VPS for massplanner for 10 to 40 acc and was 'behaving' ok
