What type of contests should I run?

Hello guys,

I have an Instagram account and gaining around 10 followers per day that's very low. I'm doing contests weekly but I don't see the expected results. How can I bring more followers by doing contests ? should I stick to " tag your friend " contest or Is there any other creative way to do it ? I send 5 giveaways per contest.

Maybe you should run some contests that offer prizes that people want?
Like give away ipods and things like that, I imagine your followers would grow much quicker that way.

what is your niche?

I dont think people really believe in contests on social media especially from someone with low followers, but thats just me.

You could try showing proof of winners getting the prizes but even then it probably wont work. Theres better ways of getting followers anyway.

Thank you guys for your Ideas. I already send 5 prizes per contest and my contests type is " tag your friend" or something similar. I see around 90 comments and more than 100 likes but I want more followers. I don't want to use Followliker on my main account I use it on seeds accounts.I have posts from real fans claiming there prizes. Do you think there is anything better that I can do regarding the contests type to attract new targeted followers or is this the best that I can get ?.And I'm in the fitness niche.

You create an image that is promoting your contest that has all of the following details. The guidelines of the contest are as follows...
To win the prize, you must like this image (on your profile), must be following you, and must post the same image to their profile telling others to do the same. If any of the criteria is not met, they will not be eligible for the prize. By them liking your original pic, it displays that image in their followers activity feed... It's a small step that many overlook. A good way to push them to post the image a lot is to say something like "if you post the image more than ten times in a day, you will be disqualified." They get it in their head that others will be posting a lot and they will have to do the same to have a shot at the prize.

Dude you are creative :clap2:. Okay now is asking followers to repost my image allowed in instagram ?. And what should I do if some profiles are private ?

Yeah it's allowed. 99 percent sure.. People do this all the time. If the accounts are private, it's their loss and they can't win if you don't follow them... But I wouldn't set any rules based on if they are private or not. Let the private users post.. It only helps you.

I would also have them put a call to action to follow you as the comment. You could add a hash tag in the comment too to help you keep track of the posts.
