He generated some 1000 pages using keywords , those pages contains images and text , when you visit those pages we get redirected to homepage , only search engines can see , i saw those pages by saving it to my system and removing the redirect , or check the yahoo cache

You can call this cloaking, yes, also called doorway pages. I find it highly unlikely that this method, which worked 10 years ago, will do much for you today.

The only way you can get pages listed in this fashion is likely to be

1) Publish the site and get back links
2) After you get listed add the redirect
 
These are doorway pages.

Sort of a "golden oldie", but with done the right way and with the right software, they still dominate very easily even today.

I don't think you can do this wordpress.

Maybe, but I'm not sure.

There is software that is built specifically for building doorway pages, so it'd be best to get one of those.
 
there is a wp cloking script out there, can't remember what it is called off the top of my head now, but a subscription is required to keep your ip lists up to date. try search for wpcloaker or something long those lines. i seem to remember a bumblebee in the logo.

The real question is: does doorway pages are still effective?
 
The only one I know of is EZ Empire Builder where you can build massive sites on WP from databases.
 
Does this really have any positive effect??
To me it seems google doesn't index any of thos pages with the redirects. So they don't help you in any way. Or am I missing something?

It does indeed. You better believe you are likely competing with a bunch of cloakers out there that are out ranking you all the time. The redirect only takes place with real people, not the bots, and so they get indexed.

Doorway pages are pages nonetheless. Give them links and they index and rank just like anything else.
 
If you can manage to generate successful doorway pages and have an up-to-date IP list at all times, they are DEFINITELY still effective.

The absolute best program to get this done hands down is fantomas shadowMaker. It is very expensive, but it works. You can do a search on this forum for "fantomas shadowmaker" as it has already been discussed here before. You can also visit their homepage for more info...

But when I take a look at the sites of this domain indexed by google, NONE of the doorway pages is indexed. So how can this help?
