There are no must have SEO tools. The tools you need depend on what you want to do. In my opinion, it would be the best if you'd get a VPS with pre-installed SEO tools (seotoolsvps.biz). That way you'd get to try out and use different SEO tools without buying them out.

Scrapebox and Raventools. That's pretty much all I use. Try the search box, OP. There have been many threads started with the same question.

Must have SEO Tools depends on what how much automation you want:

    FCS Web 2.0 Builder
    GSA + Breaker
    A Link Indexer
    Proxie Service for Tools
    Ahrefs domain checker

This is the basic 'automation' and link checker I would suggest. You can get a lot of other things and a lot of this depends on your preference and how much automation you want to do.

Start with one tool, learn how to use it.

GSA gets better with some add ons:

    Dedicated Server
    Proxies
    Correct Settings
A purchased list of verified domains

GSA does not do well with web 2.0s or tier one in my experience. If you buy some manual or make them your self 2.0s, GSA can do all the tier work if you learn how to work it.

Remember, quality over quantity matters here. So a few good 2.0s with a variety of strong tier two and blog comments as tier three will be a great way to use automation to rank sites.

GSA, Scrapebox , senuke are always my favorite. I'm using these seo tools a long time. I got them as pre-installed with my Offshore SEO VPS plan. Great conversation here. Learn some new tools. Thank you guys.

Well there are tons of tools but using them doesnt mean you're going to be successful. Knowing what to do is much more important and personally I find all SEO tools lacking. One that I think has great value for money and is a must would be Scrapebox, which is like a swiss army knife.

There is 2 must have tools, your hands and common sense, you really do not need tools to rank a site, but they can save some time especially when you do tiered links

thank you for your suggestion sir. :)

I think the first tool that I should buy is scrapebox. thank you so much sir. :)

thank you for your advice sir. :)

thank you for your suggestion sir.. :)

I've decided to buy scrapebox first. how many proxies that I should have if I want to run this tool without having trouble?
can I use the same proxies for GSA SER and Scrapebox at the same time? any negative effects for doing that?

Must have SEO tools? TBH it's varies from person to person.

    As for me:

Money Robot Submitter and Manual web2.0s - tier 1
GSA SER - 2nd/ 3rd tier, but recommended for 3rd and lower tiers.
GSA Captcha Breaker - to save captcha costs
GSA SEO Indexer - to attach with GSA SER for link indexing.
BuzzBundle - for social marketing tasks
Article Builder + The Best Spinner - To get content and spinning solution for 2nd, 3rd tiers Web2.0s.
HMA VPN - all-in-one proxy solution, use it with MRS.
